The Obudu Mountains are located on the Oshie Ridge of the Sankwala Mountain Range and the Plateau is situated in an area of over 40 square miles and rises to about 1600 meters above sea level.
The plateau is home to various species of birds. Obudu plateau is about a 6-hour drive from Calabar, the capital city of Cross River State and the nearest fully functioning commercial airport in Enugu is 3.5 hours away. An hour from the Ranch chartered air services are
available to Bebi Airport, which is about an hour from the Ranch. On the plateau, there is a wildlife canopy walkway and several miles of hiking trail for school groups to safely observe natures outdoors. Additionally, near the Center is a Honey Factory and Dairy Farm which are phenomenal educational tools for our young and old visitors
The Centre is located within the Obudu Cattle Ranch and is surrounded by endless mountain ranges, low hanging clouds and thick dense canopy forests. Ironically, it is the remote location which has hindered its accessibility and made the journey arduous that also makes the voyages to Obudu so beautiful.
